Hey Twitter, 2007 called, they said they want their old meme back.
For a little added fun, Twitter today decided to add “LOLcats” as a language option, which transforms all text, except for tweets, into typical LOLcat jargon, consisting of all caps everywhere and butchered alternative spelling of words.

The option is easy to activate: simply go to your settings, choose language, search for and click “Lolcat – LOLCATZ (Beta)” and presto.
The little easter egg is still in beta, although Twitter is way late to the party with this. Simply put, LOLcats are old news, even for a lot of norps who have moved on to equally (or more) shitty memes like rage comics, which has become Reddit’s thing. This would have been better had Twitter done this, I don’t know, say 4-5 years ago? That’s not to say LOLcats aren’t still relevant as Icanhascheezburger.com still milks them for cash, but the point still stands.
