What do you get when you take Journey’s song, Faithfully, and make the usual bad Internet parody version, but sprinkle it with a bunch of old memes and Internet references? You get “Favorite Memes”, a song by Humordy which sounds exactly like your average person just discovering memes and being an obnoxious idiot about it, in song form.

I stopped watching right after he said “Reddit run Into 9gag fun.“ The lyrics are there in the video’s description if you want to refrain from wasting over four minutes of your life. It’s not just bad, it’s cringeworthingly bad.
The song was written and directed by David Ward, and it stars Russell Groves who plays a character named Steve Perry, an (unintentionally) accurate representation of people who just discovered memes.
The song, of course, makes references to both 9gag and Reddit, but interestingly, no mentions of 4chan are present. A song about memes and you get no mention of those who were actually responsible for the origin of a majority of memes, especially the ones used in the video . The same memes that 4chan stopped caring about months and years ago, and they’re no where to be acknowledged.
But then again, it’ wouldn’t be surprising since the song was written by some guy who probably doesn’t know the first thing about the Internet.
